Monster Hunter: World

The official world release of Monster Hunter: World took place at the end of January 2018, however, Japanese players were able to enjoy this part of the series exclusively on PlayStation 4.

Gameplay

Monster Hunter: World introduces is an Action-RPG game with a third-person view and an open world map. Users will transform into Hunters on a grand mission to slay monsters and explore the open world.

Compared to earlier installments, Monster Hunter: World has provided players with a completely free open world, without the need to download from one locations to another. Monster Hunter: World has a cooperative game mode, through which users around the world can join each other and play together in a company of up to four people.

The characters in the game Monster Hunter: World do not have any distinctive skills that should attribute it to one or another class. Users decide how they want to develop their character, based on their choice of weapons and equipment.

In total, there are 14 types of weapons in the game, which were in the previous parts, but in Monster Hunter: World they were significantly reworked and intensified. Depending on which weapon the player chooses, he will have to choose the appropriate equipment, putting on the character the appropriate armor and artifacts. Armor gives the heroes various skills with which you can diversify the gameplay. In addition, potions can be added to the arsenal of characters, traps, throwing knives and other consumable items. At the very beginning, only basic equipment is available to players, but as you kill monsters and accumulate resources, you can improve existing armor and weapons or purchase new ones. The better and higher the performance on the equipment of the character, the easier and faster the monsters are killed and, accordingly, the possibility of acquiring new types of weapons and artifacts increases significantly.

As a result, the whole concept of the game consists in the banal farming of monsters for the sake of farming more high-ranking monsters that bring more resources to improve the character. As such, there is practically no plot in the game.
